The special Collector's Edition - 2014 of Forbes India features the annual list of 'The 100 Richest Indians'. This year, the cut-off level for the list is $1 billion as compared to $635 million in 2013, reflecting the manner in which the positivity of the markets has boosted the fortunes of India's richest.

The special Collector’s Edition – 2014 of Forbes India features the annual list of ‘The 100 Richest Indians’. This year, the cut-off level for the list is $1 billion as compared to $635 million in 2013, reflecting the manner in which the positivity of the markets has boosted the fortunes of India’s richest.

Our Chairman, Dr. Subhash Chandra holds the 21st position on the list. The list also features Mukesh Ambani, Indu Jain and Kalanithi Maran.

The Forbes India Rich List has been compiled using shareholding and financial information obtained from the families and individuals, stock exchanges, analysts and India’s regulatory agencies. Public fortunes were calculated based on stock prices and exchange rates as of September 12, 2014. Private companies were valued based on similar companies that are publicly traded.
