Leading worldwide media & entertainment conglomerate, ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) is the only media brand to feature in Interbrand’s recently released ‘Best Indian Brands 2017’, a list of the country’s Top 40 most valuable brands.

ZEE features at #24 on the list with a brand value of Rs. 47.95 billion, a rise of 5% from 2016 where ZEE featured at #25, with a brand value of Rs. 45.49 billion. ZEE first entered into the list in 2015 at #26.
The Top 40 Indian Brands have a combined total value of INR 4755.7 Bn, an increase of 5% from 2016, with Tata, Reliance, and Airtel emerging as the Top 3 brands this year.

Interbrand India’s fifth annual report analyzes how brands grow in a changing world, showing that using technology at scale to deliver intimate human experiences, will help drive economic growth value. This methodology was the first brand valuation method to become ISO certified.

The ranking is based on three key components that contribute to a brand’s cumulative value:

• The financial performance of the branded products and services
• The role the brand plays in influencing customer choice
• The strength the brand has to command a premium price or secure earnings for the company
