Playing Rudra, the man jilted in love, is none other than heartthrob Iqbal Khan who returns to the small screen after a hiatus of 2 years. Speaking of his much-awaited come-back, Iqbal said, “It’s great to be back! The new role excites me because it’s nothing that I have attempted so far. I loved the character when I heard the script and I hope the audience loves him just as much!”
Making her acting debut on television as Gauri is Zee TV’s own discovery, Binny Sharma, the girl from Ahmedabad who shot to fame as one of the top 4 finalists of the Season 2 of Lux Dance India Dance. Ecstatic on having landed the role, Binny said, “Bagging this role has been a dream come true! I had to pinch myself to check if I was day-dreaming when they told me I’d landed the main lead opposite Iqbal Khan! People have appreciated me as a dancer so far. Now it’s my chance to make my mark as an actress.”
Raising the bar of expectations even higher, the show’s cast boasts of veterans like Aruna Irani & Sudha Chandran playing pivotal roles.
